This is a highly detailed, beautifully grained live edge White Oak slab coffee table or bench. The splits in the slab are stabilized with seven Walnut bow ties of various sizes. The bow ties are individually hand cut and fit into hand chiseled mortises. They are not done with a template or router.

The slab has a distinct quarter sawn grain with a high level of "rays". The rays are more visible from different angles so the appearance changes slightly as you move around the table. This slab has a hand rubbed, natural Tung oil finish.
